This Week at Deer Run – Feb 23, 2024 

Spring Concert 

Save the date ... we will be hosting our spring concert on March 14, 2024. All Deer Run students will be performing in the spring concert. There will be an afternoon performance and an evening performance. Stay tuned for more information on how to secure tickets. There will be a limit on the number of evening tickets available per family, so that we are sure to adhere to fire code regulations.  

Conference Booking 

We will having our Student-Led Conferences on March 21. Bookings will be available through your myCBE account on March 13. Please refer to your classroom teacher messages for more detailed information. 

Reading Grandparents 

The popular Reading Grandparent program needs some additional volunteers. Don’t worry... being a grandparent is not a prerequisite! Reading volunteers meet at the school every Thursday morning to read with children from grades 1-4. If this is something you would have time to be a part of please call the office.

Next Year Plans 

As we look towards planning for the 2024-2025 school year, we are trying to get an idea of who will be returning to Deer Run School. We know that plans may change, but if you know that your student(s) will NOT be returning next year, please email Mrs. Pulfer at llpulfer@cbe.ab.ca.
