The excitement is building at Deer Run School! Students and staff are looking forward to welcoming you to our Rock The Ages Celebration of Learning concerts on Thursday, March 12, 2026.
Please note that Mrs. Pulfer is working hard to manage all ticket orders, and tickets will be sent home with students this afternoon.
Seating will be first come, first served. Benches and mats will be available at the front, and families are welcome to sit in this area during their child’s performance so they can take photos and enjoy a better view.
The front row of chairs are reserved for our top-selling donut and beef jerky fundraiser families. All winners have already been contacted.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Reminder from the Grade 5 and 6 Outdoor School Committee.
There will be carnations will be available for purchase before and after both the afternoon and evening shows.
They are $2 each, cash only.
Families can buy carnations for their own student performers!
Upcoming Student Led Conferences – March 19 & 20, 2026
Student‑led conferences give your child a chance to share their learning. During your scheduled block, there will be multiple families in the classroom at the same time, and the time you booked is meant for you to explore your child’s work and learning together—not a guaranteed one‑on‑one meeting with the teacher. The teacher will circulate throughout the room, stopping to chat with each family and answer general questions. If you have a specific concern that requires privacy, please contact the teacher ahead of time so a separate conversation can be arranged.
Conference booking will open in your PowerSchool account on Friday March 13, 2026, at 9:00am.
Popcorn Day is Friday March 13, 2026. Popcorn can be purchased for $1.00 a bag.
Healthy Hunger Taco Time Fun Lunch is on Thursday March 19, 2026. All orders need to be placed at www.healthyhunger.ca no later than midnight on Saturday.
