Dear Families,

We had an exciting week at Deer Run School! Thank you to everyone who was able to attend one of our spring concerts. Students were thrilled to share their music learning with our guests, and we hope you enjoyed the Rock the Ages performance as much as they enjoyed presenting it.

We would also like to remind families that Student-Led Conferences will take place this week. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to share their learning and accomplishments with an invited guest. Please note that there will be multiple families in the learning space at the same time, and teachers will be circulating throughout the room.  Bookings are made through your PowerSchool account.

If you need to discuss something privately with your child’s teacher, please reach out to arrange a phone conversation or schedule a separate meeting as needed.

Thank you for your continued support.

News From The Library

Thank you all for your incredible support during our very first Owl’s Nest Book Fair. Thank you to the families that attended our family shopping night. We had a fantastic turn out!

 Fun highlights:

  • 400 squishies sold! They were a massive hit with students.
  • $6,734.00 in total sales, earning $1,346.85 in proceeds for our school.

With those proceeds, I’ve already added 49 brand‑new titles to our library, with funds remaining for an online order.

Thank you again for helping foster a love of reading in our school community.
