Book Fair 

Thank you Deer Run! Through the book fair we earned almost $3000 toward new books in the library.  Student books and merchandise ordered were delivered to classrooms earlier this week.  Special thank you to our volunteers!   

School Council Thank You’s - Cultural Experiences and Staff Food 

Thank you to our School Council for funding two in-house performances, this week. Our students saw “Double Owl 7” and “Snow White and the Seven Regions.” Both shows were extremely entertaining and educational! 

We also are so grateful to School Council for providing a delicious meal for staff on Thursday as we prepared for Conferences. This was such a kind gesture and is very much appreciated. 

Student-Led Conferences 

Thank you to all families and caregivers who attended our student-led conferences and other meetings here at the school on Thursday and Friday. The students were so proud and excited to show you their work and show you around our great school. 

Next Year Plans 

As we look towards planning for the 24-25 school year, we are trying to get an idea of who will be returning to Deer Run School. We know that plans may change but if you know that your student(s) will NOT be returning next year, please email Mrs. Pulfer at llpulfer@cbe.ab.ca.
