Dear Parents and Guardians,

We would like to inform you that Mrs. Pulfer, our school secretary, will be on a medical leave for the remainder of the school year. We wish her all the very best and look forward to her return in the future.

Beginning Wednesday, April 29, we are pleased to welcome Ms. Janet Gerbrandt, who will be joining Deer Run School as our Admin E Secretary for the remainder of the year. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as Ms. Gerbrandt transitions into this role and becomes familiar with our school routines and community.

Grade 5/6 Outdoor School

We would like to extend a sincere thank-you to Ms. Michaud, Mr. Kyler, Ms. Claerhout, and Miss Krista for their incredible support of students during Outdoor School at Camp Chief Hector. Many families have shared positive feedback, noting what a wonderful experience the students had. Camp staff also commented on what a fantastic group of students they were and how much they enjoyed hosting Deer Run students.

Unfortunately, some students and staff did experience gastrointestinal symptoms upon returning home; however, most are reportedly feeling much better now.
