Chief Superintendent Visit
We were honoured to have CBE Chief Superintendent, Jo Pitman visit Deer Run School today. She spent time this morning meeting with Mrs. Weir and Mr. Miller and even more time walking around the school, visiting classrooms and talking to students and staff. Thank you for visiting our school, Mrs. Pitman!
Little Red Reading Van
Helping children become joyful, confident readers is a journey supported by many caring adults and community partners. To ensure children and families continue to have access to books and resources, the Little Red Reading Van travels from their organization’s Book Bank to the beautiful shelves of their Reading Place Affiliates, making stops at special events along the way. Classes took turns visiting the van today and students were gifted books. Fun was had by all!
