Halloween Happenings  

Thank you to everyone that volunteered their time on October 31, for “Halloween Happenings”. The students enjoyed the many seasonal games and activities in the gym. A huge thank you to Marlene Ray for setting up and organizing all the materials ahead of time!   

Daylight Savings  

Please be reminded that this weekend marks the change in time. Don’t forget to set your clocks back on Saturday evening by one hour.   

Remembrance Day 

Grade 6 will be hosting a Remembrance Day assembly on Wednesday November 8 at 10:00AM. All members of our school community are invited and welcome to join us. Donations for poppies will be accepted all week. Sparks, Embers, Girl Guides, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Cadets are invited to wear their uniforms to school on November 8.   

Lost & Found 

We are overflowing with items in our Lost & Found. We will be donating ALL unclaimed items over the fall break. Many items have an odor, as they have been left outside in the rain and snow. You may want to bring a plastic bag to carry them home in.   

Staff Parking Lot – Choose Safety Over Convenience 

• Do not walk children through the middle of the parking lot 
• Do not plan to drop off or pick students up from the staff parking lot

School Council Meeting 

Join us at 6:30PM on November 15 for our School Council Meeting. The University of Calgary Nursing Program practicum students will be presenting information on nutrition, meal planning and community resources available.
